Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Visitors rave about the vibrant atmosphere at The Little Bridge. The selection of tap beers and wines garners plenty of praise, appealing to those who enjoy sipping while soaking in a laid-back vibe. The menu features highly recommended dishes like the Whitby scampi, which many describe as a ‘cut above’ any standard fare. Dine-in customers particularly enjoy the friendly staff, always attentive and welcoming, further enhancing the overall experience. Many solo diners have found it a perfect spot to unwind with delicious food and a satisfying drink. Additionally, the seasonal outdoor seating has become a highlight when the weather permits, providing a unique dining experience beside the water.

Most Disliked

While The Little Bridge draws many fans, some guests mention busyness during peak times, especially on Saturdays around 3 PM. This high demand can create a bustling atmosphere that might not suit everyone. A few diners noted that it lacked some of the tranquil charm they were hoping for on busy days. Additionally, certain dishes may sometimes run out during peak hours, leading to disappointment among guests looking specifically for those items. Consequently, it’s wise to plan ahead and visit during quieter times, like weekday mornings, to enjoy a more relaxed experience.

Put quite simply, just wonderful! It's been a bit of a challenging few weeks, and you know when you need that little moment of just getting everything right? Well here you go. The food is excellent and this wonderful little cosy breath of fresh air is just perfect! My little adventure to Slaithwaite (pronounced 'sla-wit' I'm reliably informed, or you get beaten with a pork pie, but a tasty pork pie as the people here are nice), please note, no pork pie on the menu. I can't wait to come back here again as it's just perfect. A beautiful little hidden gem that has the most wonderfully simple menu that drivers 1st class food. Honestly, stumbling on The Little Bridge has been such a delight today!

It feels harsh giving this less than 5. The food was decent. The staff were pleasant and it's location is awesome. It was just too busy - which to be fair isn't their fault. Took a canal walk and popped in for a cool drink and a tuna melt. When I got up to leave there was a queue of pensioners waiting for my table. It deserves the business it just wasn't quite the relaxing pit-stop I'd imagined. EDIT : Just went in when it wasn't so busy and it's much more relaxed. 5🌟

This is a great, welcoming and cosy place. The food is really good tasty and hearty fare. I had the Whitby scampi and will again. A cut above any scampi I've ever had. A nice half of cask ale and a perfect lunch.

Superb friendly attentive staff, lovely location and amazing food. What more could you ask for? I had the roast ham sandwich and chips. My wife ordered the chicken and pesto panini. Great fresh flavours. Well recommended! New menu in photos guys!

This was mine and my wife's first time here and we weren't disappointed. Staff were helpful and willing to answer questions. Food was tasty with just a teeny bit too much salad, apart from that, great.

Enjoyable pretty atmosphere, felt almost abroad out on the little river terrace, mid-range cost but very enjoyable and the food and wine was lovely!
